Where do you find these terrible photoshops?

Yes, terrible.

But the fact is that the present Panda is very dated.
It got introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) in september 2011.
And has had only very small upgrades since.
Sale numbers start to drop like stones.
The Panda need a big "Revamp" if FCA want to turn around sale numbers.
Small changes will not cut it, it is also become to expensive.
If i want to buy a present Panda 85 lounge or CityCross, i will ending up close to € 18K.

Honestly, get a 500L, or Tipo, or Qubo if you want leg room

My son hired a 500L 1.3D a while back. was not really a fan, but it swallowed 4 of us and took us 350 miles in the day with ease cruising at around 70 and returning 55mpg. I t was comfortable and pleasant to ride in. May be not flashy but frankly all the better for that. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to have a test drive. Its much better than you might think!

a premium 500 EV with matching pricing and 62 mile battery? eh no thanks. If it's to be a success they need it to be easily affordable and have a workable range.

The 500L should have been a Panda XL. ;)

They haven't even attempted to hide the fact they have just ripped off a Mini Countryman

The back end looks like a Mazda, the wheels look like a set of old jaguar alloys

The wing mirrors are off a VW and the weird black strip at the bottom of the doors is seemingly taken off the 2006-2014 mini hatch.

This has to be the worst photoshop post yet.

Why do car magazines and journalists feel the need to cobble together a bunch of other car parts to try and say this is what ..... could look like. Clearly fiat are never going to be using bits from Mini, jaguar, VW and Mazda to be making any car any time soon.

Thank christ for that

 you seem to have not only missed the point, but also failed spectacularly at an attempt at being funny. You see the point here is, rather than make something that looks like the picture above, they’ll probably make something like the 500L oh wait they did, and that was the topic of conversation.

Ironically fiat thought they would go head to head with the Mini Countryman with the 500L and the Mini outsold the 500L 20 to 1

Had they actually made the 500x first or as suggested a panda styled suv, they may have sold a lot more than the 500L managed.

So going back to your comment, I can only assume you’d prefer fiat to not sell any cars, and carry on making flops like the 500L

Personally, I'd rather Fiat start making a bit more effort in the Panda, Punto and Tipo categories 1st. Rival cars still sell like hot cakes, so there's clearly still a market for them, so if Fiat made a proper effort in marketing, they could potentially start to claw back some lost market share. Get a proper range once more, then go after "prestige" sales.

UK press Autocar reported two days ago (Aug 27th) that sales of the Panda were up thanks to the CityCross and Waze faux-4x4s.
