Technical Fiat 500 coilovers on a Panda 312/319?

As stated before, Bilstein does not offer the B8(short sport shock) for the Panda 312. There are lots of companies that say the do have them but if you talk to Bilstein directly they will tell you that there isn't a B8 made for our car.
I'm not saying that the shocks being offered won't fit but they are not developped specificly for the Panda 312.

Then I stand corrected. I've maild a while a go and then they didn't offer them. Also I checked last week on the Bilstein site and the B8 shocks still didn't show. Now it does appear on the Bilstein.com site so it must be correct.
I would suggest to contact Bilstein directly to ask if they have the correct part numbers.
Lot's of sites where offering them for years but Bilstein said that these wheren't correct so watch out when you order.
A Novitec lowering kit with B8 shocks would be pretty cool.

Combined with the 16" mito wheels i'm hoping to get close to the corner speed of my father's 100HP.

For the straightline performance i'll have to visit Savali

If you get some good tires on those rims your corner speed will be fine ;)
I would like some pictures of your Panda and the Mito wheels. I have also looked at many Alfa wheels but could never find a nice pair.
Keep us posted on those Bilstein shocks, I'm realy interested in your findings.

They are not adjustable like "Koni Sport", and there for not my choice.
The B6 and B8 shocks could be very hard, and then you are stuck with them.
I like to have adjustability (compression-Rebound) in my shocks, so i can adjust them to my likings.
My Koni Sport shocks with AP springs (40mm front and 30mm rear lowering) were awesome, the best suspension i ever had on a Panda. (typ 169)

Really?:D As long as I'm still on my winters you stand a chance;)

gr J

And...This thread is worthless without pics:p
Only after i put on the Mito wheels...
With these 175-65-R14 winters i'm not even going to try

Yeah thats true. The reviews on other cars about the Eibachs are always pretty mixed but only when jt comes to comfort. One call them harsh and an other calls them comfy. But when it comes to road holding they should be very good.
It all comes down to personal taste at the end of the day.
Adjustability is nice but also can be unnerving and you can also ruin the ride.
On my motorcycle I got a Hyperpro Shock with remote reservoir and adjustable everything(high and low speed etc.) and although it's much, much better then the original all these setting options always keep me wondering.

Yes, all those setting options can make you wondering, but ad the end you will not use most of them.
With my Koni's i directly change the setting of them, and did not use the pre-set factory setting.
I like soft compression and hard rebound.

Nice Panda(y) I like the Alfa wheels. Are they going to be the dark color or silver?
What brand and type of tires are you thinking of for those wheels?
Matt black, so its the same as the plastics and rear windows.

Im stil looking for tyres... and im not sure what to buy.
A had some a brand tyres that i didn't like and some budget brands that out performed the big brand tyres...

That's always very personal. Out performing the best a brand tires isn't going to be easy. Maybe in some conditions but the big brands generally deliver on all fronts. I'm always very interested in braking distances and if the tire gives a steady performance in wet and dry over a long time during it's life. It's hard to find something you like so I tend to stick to the brands I know and like.

I use Dunlop Sport Maxx RT's. ;)
Also good is the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 K120.
I use the Hankook's @ the front in 215/40R16" and the Dunlop's @ the rear in 205/45R16".

If been looking at the Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 - 195-45R16

I had Dunlop Sportmaxx on my Volvo, but didnt like them

I like Continental, Bridgestone and Dunlop. For everyday year round I like the Continental Premium Contact the best. If you want pure performance tire (but imo overkill for a 85hp Panda) I like the Conti Sportcontact or the Bridgestone Potenza.
