Hello All,
I have a 2012 Panda 1.2 which is clunking on full lock, quite badly in first but very badly in reverse.
I assume it is the CV joint and wonder if anyone has done this on a Panda.
I especially wonder if there might be problems with the ABS.
I really don't want to give the dealers loads of money if I can do it myself.
any advice welcome.
Thanks for looking.
Cheers,
Richard.

Is it one side only, and is the CV boot broken or missing?

If it is a CV joint it might be possible to strip it out, re-grease and fit new boot (I had this done on an old subaru which had this problem, by a local general garage, much cheaper than a new drive shaft etc.)

It might of course depend how far gone it is... assuming it is cv joint...

Thank you for replying.
I haven't had a chance to have a look yet but it feels like my old mini did many decades ago when it had a CV joint go.
I suspect that it is too far gone, judging by the clunking when reversing on full lock. I don't dare use full lock now. It does seem worse on right lock.
Thanks again,
Richard
