Panda Lounge 2012 28K miles

Normaly when I open the door locks with the key remote I can open the rear door as well as the other side doors.
Now, it won't open that way and I need to press the rear door button on the key which clunks the lock and I can then open the door.

I'm guessing the lever switch in the lock mechanism has failed again.
It had a new switch unit a couple of years back for the same reason...

Anybody had one of these to bits?
Guess water is getting in...

Some car makes and models, you can reprogram the actions of the key buttons by going through a sequence of button presses on the key fob. (Nissan Xtrail was one) Could the Panda be the same? And have you accidentally reprogrammed the fob?

Hi

I've had a dig around the internet and this problem is usualy down to a faulty micro switch in the door handle or insulation coming off the wiring at the top of the door.

Will be having a go at stripping it down soon to see if I can fix it without spending £160 on a new handle unit...
