I've recently bought a 2013 Fiat Panda 1.2 Easy car. However, it didn't come with an engine code or key code when I bought it. Most of my previous cars do come with an engine code - in case the battery has to be removed, so then you put in the code when the battery is re-installed. Does the 2013 Fiat Panda 1.2 Easy have a code with it?

Also, it only came with one remote controlled key, and one normal key. So was wondering if it should've come with a key code too?

I am still under warranty for the car - as I bought it at a main dealer - but I have waited over a month now for them to get back to me with the 2 codes, and they still haven't. Please let me know - as they're due to ring me back soon and I have a sneaky feeling they will fob me off!

Hi,

in my experience , there will be NO CODE given,

the old FIAT CODE cards of the 90's was no longer given directly to 1st owner.. as too many were stolen along with the car..

cards were left in glovebox.. so could be started without the key..!!

in modern vehicles most of the ID / connectivity is stored in the body computer.. including original radio acceptance.

do ask again.. but i'm guessing they'll tell you the same..

(by the way..
the Warranty you've just paid a transfer fee for..
it's with FIAT UK - NOT the dealer.. so if they appear useless you can shop around.)

EDIT - just Re-read this..
2013 will NOT be the official warranty - just a "used car warranty"

KEYS - that is the norm.. my 2013 punto is the same.
