Panda Lounge 2012 26K miles out of warranty..

Mornin folks..
My Panda headlights are stuck on this morning.
I read a while back on here about this happening to some cars after a recall.

My Panda went in for a service in November and they did a firmware upgrade as it was showing up as being part of the recall.
Since then till this morning, all has been fine but now it's stuck on.

Anyhoo, is anything more known about this now?
I guess from reading that I'm in for a big bill to replace the stalk mechanism?

Hi, cant you disconnect the battery for a few mintues to reboot it .Like anything with computers just reboot it.

Have they been on all this time??

Similar problem with our 2013 Panda, but only one headlamp affected. No way to switch it off (other than removing bulb or fuse), so it was draining the battery quite fast, even when parked. Dealer had to fit a new "body computer". Luckily the car was was only three months old, so it was a warranty job.

Yes we had the same thing on our 12 Twinair after a software upgrade on Fiats instructions,dealer fitted a new electronics gizmo for free(even though it was out of Warranty),but they did TRY to bill us for attaching it to the Computer.
