2013 Panda 4x4 Twin Air with 44k miles. Great wee car but the honeymoon is officially over.
Last week stalled and would not start again with my wife driving.
Went to nearest garage and they identified poor spark so replaced both spark plugs.
Driven for 1 week and exactly the same thing happened last night but luckily close to home and on a hill. Wouldn't fire while turning over with the key so managed to roll down the hill and bump start and fired into action immediately.
Going to take back to garage on the long shot there may be an error code but pretty puzzling and my wife now doesn't trust the car so wants shot of it :-(
Anyone else had any similar issues?
Its just the fact its blooming intermittant which is frustrating as cant re create this on demand which makes it difficult for anyone to problem solve.

Did you take it to a Fiat dealer or specialist? Do you have any problems with cold starting?

No it has an Arnold Clark warranty :-( so went to their nearest dealer on the AA lorry as per advice from original dealer.
We have had no other issues regarding starting or general running of the engine??

It'd be worth getting the codes read, most likely something straightforward like a coil or sensor that'll be easily sorted and certainly not worth chopping the car in for - these things happen!

Hi.
I can't believe anyone would throw the towel in just like that!!!
Changing plugs willy nilly is not proper faultfinding in my eye. With an intermittent fault read the codes firstly and use logic, was the car filled up with petrol just before the problem arose has anything been changed, did the management light come on or was there any mis-firing beforehand.

Yes you could replace the car but if "it" was to break down would you then change it again?
Get it fixed and tell the missus not to be paranoid.

Had a search for similar issues on early 500's. Only possible causes I came across were plugs, coil pack, temp sensor, crank sensor or oil switch. I know nothing by the way. Whatever the cause, it may never go wrong again during working life of the car. And whoever had the car next (fixed) would be delighted with it. If it was near worthless, I'd probably agree with you.
