Alas this looks like it might be permanent. If it were me I would remove and refit the rubber seal as this might fully resolve the situation. This does mean removing the door card and moisture seal which is a big pain. You can buy strip mastic at caravan accessory shops which is the most likely product to secure the rubber where it is put without damage or distortion. I have used it also to reseal the moisture barrier plastic sheet before refitting door cards. You may find a new seal is easier, and it would sort this out once and for all. I use Armorall shield on all rubber seals which needs no polishing off and leaves no residue. It keeps them looking brand new. It comes with its own polishing cloth which I have not found snags on the rubber seals. I hope you get a dew suggestions to compare.
Good luck
Peter

How about some black silicone sealant from Screwfix and a bit of timber and a g-clamp to squash it back. Let the sealant 'glue' it into place and trim any excess afterwards.

Cheap to try.

Get yourself a tube of black CT1 - it sticks anything to anything, is waterproof (it even works under water), doesn't shrink, and comes off reasonably easily with their proprietary 'multisolve' solvent. I use it for all kinds of things - including window frames and boats - and it never fails. It's much more effective than silicone, in my experience, because of its amazing adhesive qualities.

Hi thanks for a reply.. the seal is all in place its the corner that has stretched.i may just trimm it off with a stanley. As soon i as i look at plastics they break..a bit a of a heavy hand..

Have you tried warming it up (steamer works well) and seeing if it will go back into shape? Just be very careful with the paint and make sure the window is down.

Mine have been like this since I bought it.... I just assumed it was supposed to be like it being a cheap car etc and cos it was the same on both sides....

Keep us posted with how you rectify this!

Well iam stuck on with one..I tried sticking the corner down todat but to no joy... i dont fancy spending near ly 100 pound on new door seals and definetly not taking the door to bits. So will have live with it.
