Hi everyone,

I'm trying to remove the front headrests from an Easy and it's somewhat trickier than I anticipitated. Are they removable as I believe they are active headrests.

Cheers

The user manual seems to indicate that they aren't removable and from what I've seen, the active bits are attached at the base of the shafts with the actual seat frame so I don't think getting them out is an easy job. Then again, it may be possible if you can remove the upholstery.

I'd assumed until today that the front head restraints simply pop out, like those in the back, but No Way, Jose. I tried to remove the passenger head restraint in Wickes car park in Lowestoft this evening (oh yes my friends, I know how to have a good time), so I could fit 3 sheets of 6x2 plywood into the Panda. Couldn't shift the b*stard. In the end I had to recline the seat back as far as it would go, and balance the plywood on the head restraint. Not ideal. I'll know next time (y)
