In running lights (DRLs) and headlights then yes, they typically work straight away, provided you buy quality ones. Any used in indicators would likely require in-built resistors (sometimes referred to by the seller as 'CANBUS-safe') but the design of the Panda tail and indicator lenses is aimed (in every sense of the word) to a filament bulb and in my experience an LED is less effective. I do have one in my reversing light holder however, as that has seemingly aligned well with the reflector shape and is much more effective than the original 21w filament bulb.
Although not wanting to spark up the LED headlight debate again, be aware that you'll never get a decent, legal beam pattern from an LED H4 bulb in a headlamp unit not designed for it.
