Hi, is it possible to buy just the lens cover for the side lights or do you have to buy the whole unit? I see the whole unit on ebay for around £20. And are they easy to replace? Thanks.

To my awareness you can't replace the cover. Shop for parts is prob your best bet as it is the same part as OE and at that price it's a decent buy.

Thanks for the info. Interesting that it says 'not 4x4'. I wonder what's different about the 4x4? Mine's is a 4x4...

Ah, the 4x4 has a black surround. Will need to find the part number.

Hi Hillhopper, you seem to be a man that knows things.
Can you lay your hands on the part number for the rear wheel bearing on a 2013 4x4
I've been told by my mechanic he needs them on hand because he believes the bearings will split when he changes the discs, looking up the various parts sites it's confusing and not widely available.

Cheers
George.

I was wondering how you were getting on with that. Mine (37,000 miles) looking like attention may be needed soon-ish.
Pete

Not getting on at all mate, not long back from a lengthy trip to the States and getting through the dross on our return, the pads and discs on the rear are not too bad, but I have a set of Pagid discs and pads to go on as soon as I can find the time to book her in.

Thanks for the info, very much appreciated.

I now have the proper replacement unit with black surround for the 4x4. Tried fitting it. Massive fail :( going in via the wheel hatch didn't give enough access so tried going in from top. This meant removing the headlamp unit but I couldn't get that out either (had removed all visible bolts but it wouldn't budge). Now wondering if it's a bumper off job to replace the drl unit?! Help!

Another thought, are there workshop or repair manuals for the new Panda available online anywhere? I had a quick Google but couldn't find any...

Hi guys

wondered did Kenny find best way to replace the sidelamp on the Panda. I have to do the same thing on my daughter's car and noticed it seemed a tricky job?

I've found a complete brand new sidelamp unit for £23 on eb*y so hope that'll be good. Main dealer was quoting £33 + vat + delivery (and that with 10% off!).

This one's a standard 1.2 8v Panda (not 4x4).

Cheers
