The only issue I can see is if the plugs are incorrectly torqued and they shear off into the cylinder, but using a proper extender and torque wrench should get the job done just like any other car.
Go for good quality plugs, may seem simple but the last thing you want is them seized into the engine block. Don't use grease on the threads as some people do, this effects the torque figures of the plug and can make them come loose. And as R1NGA said, slim plug spanner or socket is good, the plug well is rather narrow let us know how you get on
