General What did you do with your Panda today?

Yes your right all ready seen a few cars in my neighbourhood failing to start.
Had to help one guy out.
Most people have parked the car, put the hand brake on.
So some wi be sized up solid. Front disks rust up, calipers start getting sticky..
.If the tyres were not fully pumped up, may have a flat at best, cracks at worst.
Batteries will be flat, fuel "E5" maybe off, as it only lasts about eight weeks in a bike.
I think the AA guys and garages will be very busy when the lock down lifts..
Around here with the traffic some days your think it was a normal day for most people

Saw some.pictures from the town centre today looked packed

I think I've mentioned before on here somewhere that my older boy works for Sainsburys and he's very worried about us exposing ourselves to situations where we might encounter the virus, especially in supermarkets. He is, very kindly, doing our shopping for us and he then takes it home. We then take the car over to his house where he places the bags at the foot of his path where we then collect them, complete with rubber gloves etc. So no close contact with anyone.
This journey, of a few miles, takes us across the centre of the city (Edinburgh). We've done it a few times now (probably averaging once every 10 days) and the traffic is very light indeed. Looks like some sort of post apocalyptic scenario! Last time we saw just one car all the way from the central library, down the mound, Up Hanover Street and down to Cannon Mills. There were 5 cars going along Queen street as we waited for the lights to change. Ferry Road, normally stuffed with traffic and very difficult to cross on foot, has somewhat greater density but you can still easily cross without hardly having to wait at all.
So Edinburgh is looking very quiet. Our journey time to our boy's house, is about halved!

Trying to polish rear bumper top, few visible scratches, I should buy some guard sticker earlier, and refreshing colours of "Italy" door pilar badges with permanent markers.
Corona made panda mostly standing still, making some 50miles/mnth instead of 900 before..

Here in Devon the apple and wild cherry blossom is very heavy and - as you wrote - the air is full of pollen.

I ought to go to the whats made me grumpy page and complain about pollen.
Lets start a petition to get pollen banned!

Fed the sheep!

Noop has been banished to obscurity and S.O.R.N.E.D. No point paying the tax man a tax to not use a car that cost 000's in VA Tax and Income tax and that drinks fuel that costs mostly tax to drive.....

Desira have been in touch to offer a service but this can wait until he's 13 months old so I will wait another couple of weeks before booking. He will emerge in june to be serviced, allowing me to restart paying some VA tax for the service and parts and of course some more tax to fill him with fuel to get there

Daffo needs a clean and has been waiting patiently for me to oblige.... without success. May be tomorrow...

Today I drove mine..

Mpg was fantastic .. for 10'c air temp..

The 50mph roads were @80/90mpg

But the longer..faster.. stuff had a noticable headwind for around an hour.. but got 58mpg overall so not terrible

Where do I sign?:D

gr J

PS Mrs J suggests PPE for the car:rolleyes:

May be an old gardening glove taped over the exhaust?
