I'm told the shocks are not due for a week so I Put £20 gas in the loaner Friday AM.
Friday PM the garage calls to say the cars finished as the shocks came early ?
When I picked it up there was no apologies for the delay and when I mentioned the extra £20 petrol in the loaner I was told flippantly " you should have kept it and used the extra petrol " :bang:
Fiat service sucks:mad:
Anywho it is still nice to be back in my own car.
I'll keep the Panda for now but I've got my eye on the new Picanto X line turbo out later this year:cool:

Hi.
Took off the rear wheels, cleaned the the back of them so they are sparking, removed some loose rust off the drums and used rust killer and later painted the drums with Hammerite, also checked the rear beam and back plates, so far have just coated any suspect areas with Bilt Hamber rust converter. On the next dry day will go over these areas again, paint and use Dynax wax as well.

Got mine back from being repaired after my eldest bounced it down the side of a BMW. It's been 3 weeks mostly waiting for parts.

Stopped in a gas station to check the tyre pressures, tried to restart the engine....nothing. Got the car jumpstarted and took it home. Battery check revealed 0 volts. I guess it died of heart failure on the spot.
A trip to the car parts suppliers and a new battery for 40€ got it running perfectly again! I was just glad I was close to home.

Test fitted a 17" Bravo wheel, did not like the look. :D

I actually like that. I think those wheels are cool on any car . How about 16" Bravo wheels I have diamond cut black ones that might look good on a Panda. 17 is probably too big for the arch really.

Panettone has his new number plates fitted - provides one for the trailer. Slogan reads "Panettone cake fed Panda".

He had a good clean up and under body wash prior to his run to Manchester in the morning laden with building stuff and a trailer of scaffolding and ladder on the roof rack for my daughters new house. He and I have a bit of a job on!

That's truly shocking. Service items like shockers should be available off the shelf, as a matter of routine, for all current/recent models, surely?

The words you bet your arse they should spring to mind. I do now have the replacement wheel centre for my Bravo. I thought that might have been a nightmare but they got it right first time and it was not VOR so a weeks wait was OK especially as it was in hifing from the snow.
