You obviously have some click pliers Goudrons. And avoided breaking anything. Unlike me, would have ended in tears.

Collected my 2013 Panda with shiny new sump replacing the rusty, crusty original. Cleaned the drive with cheap biological washing powder to try and get rid of the oil stains while it was away - luckily no damage to the tarmac.

Much happier now I've dealt with the few bits that needed sorting - car runs nicely and the indicated average mpg around town is 44+, which is great if accurate.

Refurbed garage finished panda spent 3 nights outside

He had a bath. Going to the Doc tomorrow as the passenger door mirror keeps falling out. I hope they fix it and don't have to order the parts and rebook! As the only fault to date I can accept it, but it smacks of poor quality components.

New unit fitted under warranty at first visit so I hope it wont happen again. Thanks to Desira Norwich for the great service today.

Took a picture of my Panda (the black one ;) ) and my friends one. Funny thing is that when I bought mine he said I was crazy and I should have bought the Up...
Luckily he came to his senses :)
Stock versus lowered, 15" versus 16":

If the Up is anything like a Citigo you made the right choice. Great in the City but not on longer trips. I can't drive our one for more than an hour without getting bad back ache - the seats are just too low - even cranked right up. Base engine choice is also gutless. Interior is well made, it handles nicely and it's a dependable beast but I prefer our Panda overall.

Pandatoni is in the back of the garage because its cold and wet. Daughter asked me what the point of a 4WD car is when you put it away in the winter to keep it clean.

I just said Pandas get cold too!

Ordered a Westfalia removable towbar tow yesterday for £120!!! I have triple checked its the right part, but still expect it is for the last version. Fingers crossed. If its right this must be the bargain of the century.

Intelligent question. ;)

Used the Panda to take the family out for the day, a good hours run on mostly motorway - not usually the forte of small cars - and, even after approaching 3yrs of ownership, the Panda still impresses. Just so versatile - a nippy city car, a capable bad weather and rough ground car and a rock-steady, smooth and quiet little motorway car.... it really is "all the car you need "(in Fiat's own words!)
With roof-bars, a top-box, a tow-bar and a little trailer, I doubt there's many jobs this little car couldn't handle. A hugely underrated car, as far as the British automotive press is concerned.
