General What did you do with your Panda today?

After driving like a veritable nervous nun for the last few weeks, I got my fuel consumption for the last 750 miles up to 47.4 mpg, and my overall consumption (for 24k miles) up to 41.8.

But it's soooooo boring! I'm very tempted to hoon it for the next 250 miles, to see what I can get the mpg down to. :slayer:

Just hoon it mate, my wife drives hers like she stole it, 21k 41.5 average.
She revs the nuts out of the poor we thing, nervously check the oil level but it's still sitting at halfway... don't understand it!

When have you even seen an Italian 'nanny' their car? It probably needs a good 'hoon' now and then. [emoji106]

Cleaned it for the last time & removed all personalisation as requested by the new owner.

Fitted the age appropriate plates as my plate has gone on retention.

New owner coming all the way from Penzance to South Wales tomorrow on the train then driving back.

My Panda has been brilliant over 16.5k miles / 2.5 years. The wife's new C-HR has picked up the practical duties & my 595 Competizione is due soon.

The new owner is getting a cracker(y)

What made you opt away from the Panda out of curiosity?

Watched it drive away with the new owner :(

Currently running around in my Seicento Sporting Abarth which is great fun (although missing aircon) so roll on the 595 Competizione:)

Sad. But let's face it, anyone going out of their way to buy a car like a Panda Cross is clearly going to care for it and Cherish it more than your average used car! So rest easy in the high chances that it's gone off to a good new owner who will look after it as well as you would have

Edit: and when you get the Abarth the smile on your face will probably be big enough to forget the Panda lol

The chap has got loads in common with me including a Spider & an Abarth 595 Competizione.

He used to have a Seicento Sporting Abarth too.

My little Sei is sharing the daily duties just now.

Lack of aircon aside, it's an absolute hoot :D

Hi.
Well I got some 3mm self adhesive matting and have covered my home made shut panel for the nearside football, also have done inside the glove box and the back of the rear seat, done some other bits beside the pedals that are just bare metal of the body. To me just makes it more pleasant.

Left it at home and possibly got caught by my local average speed cameras on the bike..I'm not clever enough to work the maths out or find out how accurate my Speedo is

We've said the exact same thing....lol.

We had this back in 88. Three winters no snow.

Sold it, three bad winters on the bounce lol

We had one just like that, too - bought it in 87, but we kept it a bit longer, so it did see some action in the white stuff. Trouble was, the salt on the roads showed it up for the bio-degradable little beast that it was :(

Hi.
Was asked by my eldest daughter to take her to buy a mirror today. Well we were four up and had the boot full and my daughter and granddaughter in the back holding a big heavy mirror when some **** in a Fiesta started acting the goat. Decided to pull in front of me and hit the brakes, after a few alterations I gave the Panda a boot in third and the fiesta was not seen again. My mate (traffic) has my two dash cam evidence and is investigating.
