Your in the parking lot, engine is off. Listen to music in your panda and someone will tell you hey buddy your light is on!

Is that normal for our pandas front light (not headlight) to turn on when you only need to listen to car stereo music?

Its normal and not what i call a good set up. What i do is turn it one click off. Radio will turn off, but if you turn radio on it will work

Are the keys in the ignition when you're listening to the radio? If so, in what position (I think there's 3 positions)? The radio in mine (Jan 2015) can be used in any position or even with no keys in. With no keys in or in the off position the radio can be used and will turn off automatically after X minutes (configurable from the menus). To use the usb mode you need to turn the keys to one of the 2 on positions at which point I'd expect the running lights to come on.

I'd be surprised if the lights to come on when no keys were in or if in the off position (but of course it's a Fiat so I'm prepared to be surprised

i never knew that you can turn on the radio even if there is no keys...

i am used to the standard setting of cars where
NOKEYS-->ON--->IGNITION-->START

our panda twinair is
NOKEYS-->IGNITION-->START
