We picked up our new Panda Easy last Wednesday. We're happy with the car so far, but during the handover, it emerged that the car wasn't fitted with the space saver space saver spare wheel that I requested and paid for (it was listed on the original order form). The dealer was very apologetic and I didn't mind so much as he said he could get a spare wheel kit for us in a day or two (it still hasn't arrived, but nevermind for now).
At the time, he offered to get us a bunch of flowers by way of an apology. As there are a couple of accessories we want to buy for the car (the boot tidy and the pawprint pillar badges), I told him not to worry about the flowers but asked if he could offer a discount on the accessories instead. He came back to me later that day and said he could offer them to me at cost price, although he didn't have the exact figures to hand.
Yesterday he emailed to say the accessories would cost £50.41. While this is a bit cheaper than the usual retail price, It's more than I was expecting as the price to order them from Fiat directly is £56.83 posted. Given the hassle over the spare wheel, am I being unreasonable in querying the cost I've been quoted?
