Hi All,

Looking to purchase a new Panda for my wife and I was hoping for some guidance on PCP deals. I am a first time buyer with fiat so would be grateful for some advice. I saw that fiat have some amazing deals during their March sale, and I was wondering during these sales how much of a further discount is possible? As its coming to the end of March I am hoping they are a flexible, but at the same time I want to be realistic when I negotiate given they are already offering large discounts of the list price. Any pointers would be appreciated. I am looking at ideally the Panda easy 1.2, but would be willing to get a Pop instead. Also are there are other perks others have succeeded in getting thrown in, such as a service plan?

Join an organisation that gets you into the Privilege Scheme. The Pop currently has a discount of £1450 and a deposit contribution of £1650. The Easy £1000 off and a £2400 deposit contribution.

A search of this Forum for Privilege Scheme will produce lots of info and the various links and websites. Example flyers below for IAM and general;

Tend to agree with ExBluebird, these are huge discounts already so don't expect too much. I bought my 1.2 Pop as a runabout. I bought it over the phone from my local dealer (Johnsons in Solihull) The PCP deal was £99 deposit and £89 per month for 6000 miles per year over 48 months. GFMV is about £2300. Work it out - All the cash from me (48 X £89 plus £99) totals about £4400 plus £2300 = £6700 for the car. Tell me that's not cheap.

One word of warning though. The 1.2 69bhp is the same engine as the 500 that's been on Watchdog. MAKE SURE YOUR CAR DOES NOT HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS AS THE 500. DO NOT TAKE THE DEALERS WORD FOR IT, DRIVE THE ACTUAL CAR YOU'RE GOING TO BUY OR ENSURE THE DEAL IS DEPENDANT ON A SATISFACTORY TEST.

Sorry to "SHOUT" but this is a really important point.
