Very cool - and on an Antarctica a la mine! Will keep that in mind in case I need to be unseen in a Norwegian Forest in Autumn....!

PS - in all seriousness, the idea of a wrap is appealing to avoid the light scuffs and scratches (zips in car parks, overgrown hedges etc) of urban life damaging the real paint.... How tough are these wraps?

If it is a 3M wrap it would be tough enough.

Wraps are generally quite strong. I've got a few stone chips in mine though, but for 5 years or so, I'd say it's held up very well!

Not seen this in real life yet.

I'm not sure of wraps. I like a good high gloss shine but I can see that they would be good in protecting the cars finish.
Do they come off without damaging the paint and are they likely to leave sticky residue on the finish?
