Haha! Well there you go, everything went out of the window in the end then!

Our Panda was great for us for the two and a half years we had it, but having moved from a 500 it just never really hit the spot.

I posted the SMMT figures yesterday on the "epic" 500 thread yesterday; out of approx 67k Fiats registered in the UK in 2014, over 44k were 500s. It just sells, and continues to sell, and there is no real logical explanation for it (especially when it is SO much more expensive in relation to the Panda, which IMO is the better car in so many respects).

You're quite right about the 500 having decent space, it's not bad at all in that respect. We just needed the extra two doors when our little boy was a baby, but other than that we always fitted in everything we needed.

Anyway, enjoy your new car - sounds great!
