Had a local mechanic fit new shocks and radius arms / wishbones to Panda MJ about 18 months ago .I still get a horrific metallic clunk that would rattle your fillings even going over CERTAIN speed ramps / holes at 25 mph .Yet it gives a reassuring spring back 95% of time .
At the time I was certain mechanic had fitted shocks badly ,front handling was awful and you could see the two top mounts weren't symmetrically fitted .He may even have forgot to fit the bump stop/s .( He took car back and 'fixed ' it) Is it true a shock can be destroyed really quickly by this ? Or could there be a bushing of some description (not in wishbones )gone ? There seems to be one attached to a vertical ' narrow bar '(?) but it looks fairly ok .
Any advice appreciated .Car passed 150k this week and wanna keep it in good shape
