Hello folks,

Since the summer my Panda Pop has been collecting water just above the driver footwell.
It was fine in the summer because it would eventually evaporate in the heat of the sun, but now its getting worse now that the rain is constant.

Like I said its just above the driver footwell so everytime I turn left I get a left shoe full of cold water.
I think it may be clogged with old leaves etc but unfortunately I can't get to that part of the car to see what the problem is even with the bonnet open.

Is there anything I can do myself before taking it to a garage?

Thanks in advance.

Is it under warranty? If so, the one thing you could do before taking it to the garage, is call them and tell them your coming!

Water leaks are difficult enough to find at the best of times! Good luck, let us know how you get on.(y)

When I had to have my windscreen replaced (in Italy) the glazier stripped all the plastic and rubber trim away from below the windscreen and seemed to be able to replace it without any problems, so you should be able to do that and see where the drainage is blocked.

Hi, I have the same problem. Any further ideas on this, as I don't want to be without the car for long.

I think the answer to this problem is similar to that with the previous model Panda - leaves and other dirt blocking the drain tubes from the 'scuttle' - the area at the back of of the engine where the wiper motor lives and where the air comes into the heater.

This post explains the solution https://www.fiatforum.com/panda/272828-loose-plastic-thing-full-water.html?p=2784973 BUT on the new Panda the drain tubes are much harder to access owing to the shorter bonnet and more steeply angled windscreen. Should point you in the right direction though... I will see if I can take a photo of the same drain tubes in my new Panda

Thanks, I'd really appreciate that as I've taken a look but I can't see any drainage channels as described in the post.
