Good to see Autoworld are as impeccable as they've always appeared to be!

Getting more and more annoyed with them - days ago I was contacted and given a 64plate reg number- at this rate I could have had a 15, and told the salesman would be arranging delivery.

If the car isn't perfect and as specified it will be rejected - to be honest I would get a great deal of pleasure telling them to stuff it :D

Why has it even been registered yet when it's not even been delivered? You're already eating into warranty surely, and as you say with 15 plate only being 12 days away you're better off, financially in the long run with resale value, not having it registered until March.

You'd be better off asking autoworld these questions - I haven't a clue and I'm really really fed up with them.

Well after me calling the dealer today I'm told it will be ready for collection tomorrow.
I will check the documents very carefully and ask for an explanation about it being preregistered. Hopefully l can get a free service out of them.

Swung by tonight but couldn't see it, must be in the compound.

You've got my number haven't you?

Dom

10 days before 1st March - bit pants tbh. They always have been rubbish from what I've read. Could never figure out how they ended up with an Abarth/Alfa franchise when they disappointed so many Fiat customers.

Still, least you've a bit of choice in those parts for servicing.

Yep. Had 6 cars from them over the years. Rubbish.

Shame you can't buy off Amazon.

The title of this thread should be Mustard is the new orange......

Very nice, enjoy! I test drove an orange Trekking Twinair before I bought my
Cross, went like a 'stabbed rat' !
My cross (in a more sedate Tuscany green) has only 250mls on it at the
moment so still feels rather tight.

Good to see the two oranges side by side - the Goa orange is still far better, though I guess the other one is not too bad, a little restrained.

Also good to see the size, side by side - the 4x4 looks huge but photoshop confirms it only a bit longer.

That is the cutest car i've ever seen, just a shame theres a chintzy car pretending to be a Panda infront of it. (n)

Chintzy

The Alessi is "a girls car" I've been told more than once :p

Well I drove the flying pumpkin down to Hampshire and back (on official panda business) yesterday.

I was diverted by the blue&me tom tom a couple of times down some very narrow wet and muddy lanes - I even went through a flood - all with total confidence. The ESP light flicked on a couple of times but no dramas to report here!

The twin air trekking is a joy to drive with plenty of power, smooth ride and more interior space than I'm used to. Body roll is very good for a tall car with jacked up suspension only a few times it twitched a bit with strong side winds.

It ate up the motorway miles and the speed camera warnings kept me on my toes when my attention wandered away from the speedo handy as it is very happy to exceed the national limit!

I also brought home a pair of heavy Alfa Romeo seats for the classic panda in the boot :)

I bought this car wanting it to replace the 100hp, Alessi and 4x4 - apart from keeping the old 4x4 for off roading/skip duties I'm extremely happy with the first 500miles, the only unhappy face (apart from Aston Martin ;)) is the dog who has been relegated to the boot!

Now I have real quandry at the weekend - Classic or Trekking
