Hi All,
Ordered my new Panda back at the start of May and have a nice little story to tell. I firstly went to my Peugeot dealer and was looking to get a 107 but boot space was terrible so I had a quick wander into their FIAT section (dual dealership). I loved the 500L but it was out of my price range and then saw the Panda. I loved the style and quirkiness and was hooked. I asked the sales lady for price breakdown and a basic lounge was £139 deposit and £139 a month in payments on PCP. I then asked for a test drive and to my astonishment she said she was on her own (4 people in the Peugeot section) and couldn't take me out. I asked if i could take it and she said "Oh no we have to accompany you!". I'd been to many dealers and most let me take the car out on my own and some gave me it for the day. (I sent a complaint email to them the next day)
So I left a bit angry and phoned another local Fiat dealer and they said we shut in 20 mins but we'll take you out. Just out of politeness we said it was okay we'd come tomorrow. So the next day we did and had a lovely test drive in a Panda Pop. I ordered the Lounge basic model and the deal was done. But I got home to a few missed calls and one was from the dealership that couldn't give me the test drive and offered lots of extras to try and get me to cancel my other order.
In the end I stuck with the original order but they matched the other extras and I've got a White Fiat Panda Lounge 1.2 with Blue and Me, Tom Tom, Parking Sensors, Skydome Sunroof, 50/50 Split sliding rear seats due in the next week. Very excited!
