You will need to go back to your dealer and tell them to contact Fiat Technical, they will instruct the dealer as to what to do. (Is there another dealer you can go to?)
The other dealer I could go to is even worse. I bought my first FIAT 500 off them and said I'd never deal with them again as they were terrible. The worst garage I'd ever used. I even travelled to a further dealer to buy the current panda 4x4 over either of my more 'local' dealers as neither are great. When I had the rear brake squeak I had to officially complain to FIAT and left the car with them for 4 days (after them already having it for a day) before it was finally sorted. After all that it still took me a month to get my money back for the first day they looked at it as 'brakes aren't under warranty' they say.
Anyway, I've taken all the glove box out and had a good look. Every thing seems fine but I managed to get a passenger to help me while I drove around. Pushing the cross section above the open glove box/shelf area with a reasonable amount of force towards the front of the car seems to stop the noise.
I'm going to try and use a mirror to see if there's anything I can do but I it looks like it will be a dealer trip now.
I did notice that the bolts which hold the dash ? come from the external recess where the front door hinges attach to the body. There's two big bolts with large washers and a rubber/foam pad. I can turn the washer by hand on both side of the car so I don't suspect this out of the ordinary unless someone else can see what their car is like.
