Hi folks, I bought a panda 2012 1.2 8v Lounge with 23k on the clock around a month ago now. The car was only £5,300 so pretty cheap really; however I've been experiencing a few issues with it.
Firstly the boot release wasn't working, so I had that replaced under warranty.
Secondly, the dash has been making some rattling/creaking noises, also mostly fixed under warranty.
Thirdly, there was a squeaky rubbery sound coming from the rear end which Fiat said are the handbrake cables rubbing on the rear axle. They said they re-positioned them to sort the noise out, but in actual fact all they did was put grease on the areas that were rubbing. Now 3 weeks on the noise has returned and I've noticed one of the cables has a split in the outer layer. They look very tight against the car and look to be a bad design. Should I revisit Fiat and get them to replace the cables? What if the new cables do the same and rub again?
Fourthly, the EQ settings on the radio don’t save, so when he engine is turned off and started again, I have to reset the settings.
