That is a very nice looking car.

My first real car, after a £50 load of rubbish, was a new Fiat 127 like the one in my icon.

I did it up to individualise it.

Looking at that Panda I wonder if I were doing it all over again whether I'd have ended up with something like that. :)

I think the wheels suits the Panda very well.
Agree but don`t like the color of roof bars and mirror covers. Red would be better on black car.

I like the little Italian flag on the back pillar

You can get cheap and good quality Italian flag decals on ebay from Israeli seller

About above car. There is a thread on Dutch Panda club forum

Wheels are genuine 7x17" ET 38 Abarth wheels with 205/40R17" tires and they where rubbing.
I thought it was on the inside, but i'm not certain about that, but most likely.

Super fast response, cheers. I translated that he was thinking of getting some spacers but couldn't find if he had to in the end. Just got some for my 4x4 so I don't spend all year driving round on winter tyres.

No he has not, he sold the car, November 2014 after 11.000 Km.
He could not get used about the lack of power and the 2 cylinder engine sound.

Personally i think 17" is to big for a Panda 319. ;)
To much wheel, to less tire.

Have you gone for the 7x17? I've been thinking about getting some summer wheels/tyres for my Cross, but I hadn't thought of going that far! I'll be very interested to hear how you get on with them, especially with the greater ground clearance of the 4x4.

Yes 7" x 17", Thought I'd save the winter tyres for the winter rather than drive around on them all year. As I'm not taking the 4x4 off road and only bought it for the improved traction in the snow and ice, I also have a set of lowering springs on order too.

I'm going for this look https://www.fiatforum.com/panda-iii/419264-lowered-panda-trekking-17-inch.html

I've got Ritmo Sport 17x7in wheels with 205/40R17 tyres on my Easy TA, no rubbing on guards etc. Fuel consumption is abt 1.0L/100km higher and performance is blunted. Looks good and grip is incredible though. I think I'll go for the opt 15in Panda alloys when I can though...

Ok so it sounds like 7x17 do fit but I have to expect a hit on consumption and performance. So long as it looks good and gives me the 100hp look of my old Panda then I'm happy. I can handle the issue with power in other ways.

As I've said, I love the look and the cornering grip of the 17in wheels on my car. Around town performance is still quite good, it's only when climbing steep hills on the freeway at about 120km/h that you really notice the drop-off in performance. The 17in wheel/tyre weighs nearly 20kg; the standard 14in steel rim/tyre is about 12kg.

I nearly had a rear-end collision last weekend, the first time in a long time that I've come so close to having a crash. All the right conditions for it; I was tired, my son was asking me to change radio stations, the car in front had no brake lights and certainly I was driving too close.

As I realised he was stopping suddenly, I hit the brakes hard, then realised I was still not going to stop in time. I then buried the brake pedal and the ABS kicked in. I just stopped in time.

I wonder if the extra grip afforded by the Kumhos saved me. Maybe not, but given the massive increase in lateral grip, it is a distinct possibility.
