Not sure about everyone else, but does anyone else find the horn embarrassing? I can't believe its so quiet and has such a timid tone, especially for an Italian car, (anyone who's been there will know how much use they get)!
My question is, is it easy to upgrade it? Mechanically I'm fine and don't mind a little bit of electrical work BUT if never owned a vehicle with the CanBus system before. I've been looking at something like this

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400577852009?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

Any tips would be most appreciated.

The horn on the previous model was really feeble so I don't find the present one too bad.

I think it's pretty feeble, worse still is that the steering wheel pad
needs to be pressed so hard to get it to sound at all :(

Fortunately I very rarely have cause to use it!

As an Italian car, I'd love one of those tuneful 'La Carraciola' multi-tone
fanfare air horns, but they've been illegal for many years

Canbus won't affect it, can be upgraded easily without too much issue, but personally I'd relay any replacement you use if its an air horn.

Must be a problem with the horn pad in yours. Mine is ok, just needs a gentle press :)

I did a horn upgrade on my fiorino,as i thought it didn't sound right for an italian car, i just bought a high and low set from ebay and wired direct to original horn wiring, 1 year on and still ok, with no issues.
