We do know the major spec of the car and I have driven a regular Panda 4x4.

Even the sales guy can't work out what exactly this pack is, though I suspect it is merely the penguin decals and so on.

Your sales guy is being a little lazy I'd say. Each dealer will have had a bulletin with the spec on it.

In case you missed the other thread, this what you get over the standard spec of the 4x4

3 rear seats/seatbelts
white paint/black roof
height adjustable drivers seat
Rear privacy glass
the orange mirrors and wheel centre caps
the polished face accessory wheels
Penguin sticker along the side.
Door pillar badges.

It looks to me that the options list has been pared right down too with only leather wheel/gear knob available.
Shame that as I'd want the winter pack.

I agree deeyup sounds a bit lazy! After they phoned Fiat and found out that the car actually existed my dealer did quickly procure a crumpled, I assume faxed builtin - not exactly glamorous but they gave me a copy with what details they had.

Anyway we are looking forward to getting it next week and I have to remember that it is my wife's, not mine!

You'll probably find that when the dealer selects 63k that all those other options come with it and can't be deselected. That is what makes the Antartica, it's a pre defined selection of options.
The actual pack is most prob the 30° door pillar trims and penguin.

Well my car's arrived at the dealers and I can collect it tomorrow afternoon

Unfortunately deeyup the car arrived with the penguin decals already attached so they won't be in any useful state by the time they're peeled off

Also just for fun here's the before/after image from the official Antarctica page on fiat.co.uk. The before was on the page when I ordered the car (no penguin or fake snow) and the after appeared a week later! I can't help but feel they need to invest in some photoshop training for their web team

I'll be waiting on the delivery with great interest and I hope it comes up to your expectations.

Hopefully my wife will have hers on Friday or Saturday.

She's very keen on the penguin!

I'm unsure if you can or can't order the options. Crazy to think fiat not allowing it, but since when did that stop them making certain decisions.
The Configurator doesn't allow most options, but the ordering system might?

Does this mean the Penguins are a reality? Sorry, I've not been following this closely enough.

I simply must have a set of these stickers, even if I don't put them on the Panda!

4x4Panda I can confirm that the penguins are real I've seen them on the doors of my new car!

Since they'll be gone when I go back to collect the car tomorrow, I've uploaded the terrible camera phone snap I took earlier in the dark wedged between two cars as proof

As for the penguin sticker...well, maybe you will have a change of heart when you see it in the flesh. Unless of course the dealer is getting rid of it before you come?
