Saw this today,
Ebay Panda

List on this with the options would be not miles around £15,600.

Assuming there's no adverse history with it I'd say it's a bargain at £10,000.
In fact, It's so cheap I'm suspicious.

Yeah, does seem a good bargain!

The price is a bit low maybe, but to be fair I think the new Panda is generally suffering quite badly in terms of depreciation.

I had our 1.2 Easy valued at £5,300 back in August, 14 months after buying at £10,050. It has lots of useful options, most of which did hold their value quite well. Had it just been a completely bog-standard 1.2 Easy in white, it would have been valued below £5,000 apparently...

By contrast, our old 500 cost £9,000 exactly from new and was traded in after 28 months for £6,200. So the car was twice the age of our Panda when valued, yet it hadn't even lost a third in value. The Panda is nearly approaching a 50% loss already...

However - I do think the 4x4s will hold their value much better as they are much more specialised.

I'm unsure?

The listing says the seller is a motor dealer, and the photos were taken on a Tesco petrol station. It may be a genuine bargain, but alarm bells ring in my ears.

If I was in the market I'd go and look at it. I'd probably get an RAC or AA inspection though before I committed.

I seem to recall the salesman telling me I would still get 66% of the value of my car after 3 years

edit just had a look at the car its done 11000 miles but still its a low price wheather its a EX demo car that was sold then resold

Seems to be in line with the residuals for the 500 then - sounds like you should be alright!

I think I've just been unlucky buying one at launch before all of the juicy discounts came in and, if I am honest, tying myself into a crap PCP (my APR is 9.9%, should have done better really, but my excuse that my little boy was only five months at the time and so my brain was probably frazzled from sleep deprivation!!(y)).
