Hi guys,

A few questions on the new FIAT Panda please?

What is it like to live with as a everyday car? It has just been released in Australia this month and so far 2 reviews have said the Dualogic gearbox is clunky and causes vibrations through the steering column.

Is this true? The 500 has this gearbox and does it have the same issues?

What else do I need to know about the Twinair engine and the dualogic please?

Hi

Im in my first week of owning a panda 1.2 - so far LOVE IT!! I traded a twin air 500 - ( decided needed more room and was a bit over twin air - fantastic but noisy and ran out of puff)
All my cars have been manual- my mum has a dualogic punto 06 mod) yes transmission is clunky and does everything the reviews say it does but it has NEVER malfunctioned or let her down (unlike Alfas Selespeed (SHUDDER) )
The twinair is fantastic and performs very well and of course sounds amazing!!
My panda drives beautifully - i was speechless on test drive - it had big shoes to fill as before 500 i had a manual petrol punto- and he was king- panda now wears the crown!!

Enjoy!!

Never driven a Fiat one, but robo-manuals take a little getting used to. You feel the gear changes more like you do when a passenger. They come as a bit of a surprise.
The solution is easy. Drive it like a manual. When you want to change up lift off the gas and the gearbox will take the hint and change.

Hi Dainelsydney and Myhotpunto. I have the same Fiat Panda and have loved it for the first three years but am now experiencing issues. I was wondering how you're going with your Panda?
