General Which Panda 4x4?

... so does anybody know what colours are replacing the ones being dropped ? Is there still going to be a green at all ? i think the car would also suit a paler shade of green but i guess until you see it on the car it would be impossible to judge.

The original Panda 4x4 came in a pale camouflage green that suited it very well - I wish I still had mine!

Yes thats the colour i was thinking of - i guess it may be that the colours may not be replaced but simply ported to the upcoming flagship cross :-(

Although the 4x4 TA is not as nippy as our 500 TA I have surprised myself as to how capable it is.

A couple of overtaking manoeuvers which left plenty of time and space to spare showed me that so long as you carefully time things then it is a willing car.

I haven't tried the diesel version but for the mileage we do in it it couldn't be justified.

I was a total dieselhead until I tried the Twinair- my previous four cars were
all diesels, the last being an Alfa Mito 1.3 Multijet. But I find the TA much
more fun, a bit faster, and (with careful driving...) almost as economical :D
(My Panda Trekking's now averaging about 58MPG)

I reckon small turbo petrol engines are the way to go, though it is harder
to get near the 'official' fuel consumption figures, it's fun trying

Hi guys Tuscany green is available for the new cross ... It's the only metallic so far rest are all pastel colours ... Would of loved the metallic grey on the 500s........

My 4x4's in Tuscan Green and I suspect it's the best colour. Having said that, I've had 131 Mirafiori Sport, Ritmo Abarth 130TC, Uno Turbo ie and Panda 100HP in what I call gunmetal - Electroclash/metallic dark grey - and I'd love to have a Panda 4x4 in it.

Yeah I do like it in Tuscan green but I really don't like the green dash green seats green door trim.....

Oh yes, sorry.....my mistake you're right! Its the green dash I wasn't that keen on in the demo I drove. Also I thought I'd get the light faux leather grubby in no time! LoL

Anyone who has a penguin on the side needs to speak to a therapist.

Alternatively, anyone who has issues with a penguin being on the side needs to speak to a therapist. ;)

Either way, I can help, at very reasonable rates! (y)

I quite like the penguins by the way & feel they are part of the car's spec and need to be left alone - on the other hand, I'm not sure I'd want to drive a car with penguins on it! Therapist again I guess..... :D

Lol...the most serious debate in this Panda section has always been "avec penguins" or "sans penguins" with the 4x4 Antartica!:D

I am firmly in the "for" camp. In fact, my wife actually thought the Antartica (with penguins of course) was "not bad". She also said that it would be "stupid" for us to get a 4x4 though as we don't need one - can't argue with that!:)

Let's look at this from the penguin's angle - it's all very well being a bit on the side, but what happens when a tasty looking seal happens along? And are inter-species relationships likely to last or will the penguin always be on the side?

Also, don't forget that penguins are gregarious creatures-there really
ought to be more than one on each side ;)

Since when has don't need one been a reason not to get one anyway? Lol
