Must get my brother onto this as his Mrs has relaxed the auto-only stipulation. The only 'however' is if this deal is only on the basic car, as a/c is a must...

Yep, afraid it is just the base model so doesn't have A/C sadly.

The 1.2 Easy is however available for £7,995 from Vospers according to their website, and I just filled in my details for an extra £250 off voucher. So it's available for £7,750 shall we say;). Who knows, you might even be able to get some more money off too...

I am actually really keen on this particular offer though. We have been debating getting a second car on and off for the past six months or so. It would only ever be used by me or the wife, not for transporting our little boy around. So it doesn't need to be anything fancy at all.

On balance I still think a cheap second-hand car is prob the way forward, but when you can get such a quality new car for that price....that's properly thrown a spanner in the works!

I wonder what is the best deal possible on a to-spec factory order? I think some of the Panda options are so good as to be of the 'you'd kick yourself later if you didn't' kind:

Blue&Me
Predisposition for TomTom
Height adjustable drivers seat
Fold down front seat
Split foldy rear seats

:D

Yes, and I'd add to that the leather steering wheel cos the std one is pretty horrible. The slide rear seat option is brill too....

Just found this from my local dealer:

http://www.vospers.com/new-cars/offers/fiat-panda/

Only a basic 1.2 Pop, but no deposit and only £99 per month on a four year PCP deal. If you have cash available, it's only £6,995.

I would go as far to say as there is not a better car out there for £6,995 brand new. Roll up, roll up!(y)

Saw it and bought it as a 2nd car. Took the pcp over 3 years for £110 pcm.
