I still think the lights are a weak point on the Panda, even with upgraded bulbs

I think the problem is with the reflectors.

I may try HIDs, but I don't think that light output is the fundamental problem.

Nail a pair of good old Oscars or big Carellos to the front as one used to do to your 124/128 etc in the 70's....then there will be light !

My dad had a 128 in the late seventies, it was great fun to drive (I recall
enjoying its good traction in snow on a night journey from Bristol to west
Somerset. No problem with lights when there's snow on the ground )

As for my Panda's headlights, they're not great even with Osram Nightbreakers fitted,
but last thursday they were hopeless until
I cleaned the lenses The main issue IMO is that their reflectors
are simply a bit small in area. It's a pity HIDs aren't an option

There's lots of muck on the roads right now...
