My iphone works great, with info displayed on the radio and instruments.
In fact, the apple product works perfectly. A windows 8 phone I bought was in contrast a right pain to get working. It would only connect one time in 10, and wouldn't play podcasts through the fiat system.
Can't see why an iPod wouldn't work as good as the iPhone.

There are many types of iPod's, i have a 80Gb Classic.
There are lot of systems that only work with iPod Gen 4 or newer.
Wonder if Blue&Me have that, or accept all iPod's.
I have a classic 80gb that works perfectly with blue and me in a 500
