If it blows Very cold then its working. The problem with working it manually is the unit doesn't regulate properly so you will not get proper temp control and if there is no air con it could get very hot very quickly. You'd be surprised how close the cabin gets to 18C (especially if its been sunny) without the heater on so it could be that is why its not putting out hot air.

Posts: 38 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | Re: Panda Twinair Lounge climate problem I did n evening trip. I can confirm the compressor is working ok, but the direction control is odd. When i start the car and select auto and set 23 i now get heat in the lower vents which is okay an the direction controls are all off. If i select heat to the front it works too but if i then select heat to the lower vents i get nothing and heat in the front vents. If i turn on auto again i still only get heat from the front vents and the heat keeps comming although the cabin feels hot. Im now not able to stop or redirect the heat in from vents unless i shut down the climatecontrol. I dont know what to make of this right now ?

Earlier I was not able to switch the airflow to the feet from the Dashboard. But now I Can hear when the flow is changing and feel it too. Sometimes it happens that I can't stop the airflow from the Dashboard unless I first Press the button for airflow to the windows. After this I can switch flow between the dashboard and feet without problems.

Posts: 38 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | Re: Panda Twinair Lounge climate problem Here's a quick status on the climate problem. The problem with the air direction controls kept annoying me, and the temperature’s still hard to adjust, so I took the car to the dealer’s workshop yesterday. The technician made a computer readout from the Panda and there was in fact an error unknown to Fiat. Something about a shortcut somewhere, that could be the cause of the climate control’s bad behavior. Now they have sent this error to Fiat Italy and they will decide what to do with the problem. Another strange thing we found is the start/stop system only works properly if the lights are in off position. If the lights are on, the start/stop system will stop the engine but restart after a few second because of the tolerance rules set in the computer. Dealer finds it strange too, but Fiat says this is the way it’s designed. Hopefully enough people will mention this and an update will be made.

The problem was a bad electric motor that controls the air direction flap. While the workshow was waiting for a spare from Fiat Italy I got a fiat 500l 1.4 peteol to drive around in. Nice soft and comfy car but i found it a tad too slow. Im glad to have my panda back again, but excellent service though.
