First post here so hello to all !
Just bought a 12 plate pop in white with a few upgrades already done (black side mouldings and 60/40 rear seat and extra seatbelt).
There are a few mods I would like to do to the car and would appreciate any advice or pointers?

The drivers seat isnt height adjustable in the pop. I am quite tall and it would be great if i could somehow lower it by an inch or two?

Upgrade to remote central locking

Fitting of front foglights.

Fitting of USB/Jack connector in centre console near 12v plug .... does the radio have rear connectors for this? Cheers !

Thanks Catnash ..... Its a bit pricey but I suppose it is a genuine fiat part ! Oh, can I ask you .... do you have problems with the door seals when it rains? I discovered a few pobs today when opening the front doors. The seals seem badly designed and water dripped in all over the seats

I haven't as yet with the seals, plenty of rain here in Wales. I have heard on one of the threads here, originally with them sticking on the rears and some silicone spray resolves that.

Hi, I'm doing a similar mod to my Panda. I'm putting in a DAB Digital Radio and a MP3 Auxilliary Input (I know the CD player is also an MP3 Disc player(y)) which will work through the existing headunit so there'll be no need to replace it and the facias. The DAB radio is a Revo In-car DAB Radio which needs to be hardwired into the car (not one of the FM Transmitter ones) and so will the cabling for the MP3.

At the back of the Headunit (made by Continental (the same Continental that make tyres!) in the Czech Republic) are three standard ISO sockets. One is for the Power source amongst others. The next is for the speakers. The third is empty, and holds space for an Auxilliary Input - but just one, I believe... I've not been able to find an Auxilliary Input for a Continental Headunit (didn't know they made them until this afternoon...) but after having a good look at the socket, I have bought what looks like the correct Auxilliary Input from Ebay for £4. It's a Mini-ISO connector which goes to RCA/Line In female connections which will connect the audio from the DAB Radio to the Headunit . I'll wait for it to arrive and fit it to see if it's the right one.

Hopefully the Input will be the correct one, so from the RCA/Line In I'm planning to put in a Splitter Plug on each socket so that I can (hopefully:D) run the two Auxilliary devices through the one input: One from the DAB Radio and the other from the MP3 Player, one at a time of course...

Just need to wait on Royal Mail and I shall post an update with a photo of the lead when the show is up and running. If not, I'll advise anyway and retreat into a corner to think about my actions!!

Hope your mods go to plan Bobcat43:slayer:

Why, having just purchased a new car, did you not get Front fogs fitted, or go for a model with RCL?

RCL cannot be easily fitted in a way which isn't going to invalidate parts of the warrantee, and fog lamps are going to have to be wired in from scratch as will not interface with the cars canbus system.

The pop was an ex demo car, hence the 12 plate ...... I will bear in mind the comments re fog lamps and RCL, cheers

I've had the same, just on the driver's side.

I've noticed that the way the door closes sometimes sqaushes the door seal in a slightly different position than normal and this caused the leaking (it was intermittent on mine so explains why).

My doors haven't stuck on the seals yet but since I realised about the way the seal sits I've been able to prevent it from leaking.

Shouldn't really have to do this with any car, but I'm hoping with time the seal will just get used to sitting in the right position.
