Hi everyone. :wave: I've just got home from ordering a new Fiat Panda and what a difficult decision it was.

I am in the position to get a staff discount as I work for a company that is part of the Fiat empire. The deal was that the car had to ordered from stock so I spent ages going through the dealers stock screen trying to find the car for me. I wanted a 1.2 engine, preferably an Easy or a Lounge, but was prepared to be flexible about the specification. I was surprised at how many stock cars have factory fitted options, I expected most to be standard spec, which made the decision process harder. Nearly went for a Lounge in Can Can red with the Techno Pack, but that red was just too bright for me and it also took me just the wrong side of my budget. Finally settled on a Lounge in Active Grey with heated front windscreen.

It should be with me at the end of the month. Can't wait.

Welcome! I'm also new here; collected my Cancan red 1.2 Easy last week. Like you, I was limited to either dealer or Fiat UK stock, and ended up choosing the engine, spec and colour I wanted with a factory fitted Techno pack. I didn't care very much for the sat nav, but now I have it I think it'll be handy on European trips.

The Techno pack looked good but I really would only have used the Aux input or USB connection to play music, the TomTom would have been wasted.

I guess I will look into fitting an aftermarket Aux input.

Sounds like a nice choice you've made. I think the sheer number of cars with factory-fitted options is probably down to the fact that there are quite a lot of things which aren't fitted as standard (not necessarily the Techno Pack of course, but things like split/fold seats, height adjustable drivers seat etc).

Anyway, it's a great little car and one which I am sure you will have great pleasure driving.
