There's a CLX with a DOUBLE SUNROOF local to me on eBay - how fixable is this?:

"Unfortunately, it won't pass the next MOT without some work. If you're handy, you should be able to fix it yourself. Regretably, I am not. According to our local garage (who, as a courtesy, kindly gave it a pre-MOT inspection). They found a bent wishbone, and the front brakes need new pads."

Brakes I can do - but what about a bent wishbone?

Not unusual. Wishbone is a pure mechanical swap but a ball joint splitter will be required. My 1000S has a bent wishbone, this has never bothered the MOT man since I bought the car in 92. This " looks " to be a reasonable car and I would be going for it myself, were it not for the double sunroof.

I'd be inclined to wonder why the wishbone was bent. It's a substantial piece of metal and wouldn't just bend for no reason. Careless/rough handling? Accident?

Not uncommon - it'd be the first thing to bend on any panda...

could have just been careless jacking up of the car.

shame its not snapped in two, could make a wish then
