Just to let you know after a short and small windfall I have got my FIRE back on the road and with a new MOT. Thanks for all the advice, you swayed me and convinced me to repair rather than replace.All I have to get is a diaphram for the automatic advance and retard and we are back to 100%

As stated N/S/F and O/S/F suspension arms, front break discs and pads, Lambda sensor, and a few minor rust problems

Pleased to hear you got it sorted.

Advance/retard unit, referred to by Fiat as a "Compensator" is part number 9939936. Understand these can also be obtained ( possibly cheaper ) from Shop4Parts.
