Discovered reason for low clutch. Cable is fine. However, the clutch, gas pedal and brake pedal/MC are all bolted to a plate that bolts from the inside of the car, to the shell/body. It has split just below the clutch pedal gusset. Is there any easy fix? Braze? bolt a plate over the split, new pedal plate? Ideas? I'm not looking forward to removing everything to replace a plate that is probably not available, or only from Fiat for £100.

I've not had to repair/replace one of these.

I'd consider looking at a scrap/breakers yard for a secondhand part.


BTW How much were you paid to take this Panda away - it seems to be in quite a stateB)

Does this mean the bodywork has rotten around the bulkhead area where the pedals are fixed.

had something similar on a power steering rack mount,i'd just get it welded to repair the split ,not too expensive but probably awkward as hell
