I suggest you leave the poor little Panda alone and stop thinking of ways to deface it. :)

Seriously though, welcome to the forum. Yours is actually a Mk2 Panda. There were kits available for Mk1 Pandas and I'm sure the parts could be made to fit the Mk2, but I very much doubt that any are currently available. It's not usually the choice of car for modifiers.

ps. tell us more about your car. 750? 903? 999? 1.1? Special edition? Age etc.

You own a car that is now being appreciated as a classic!!!:slayer:

Sorry missed your 93 Panda 1000 FIRE at the bottom, any pics?

Many thanks

It is a 999, so great on the road tax:) Do you know if there were any body kits or anything like that made?

I don't recall any official bodykits being made for the Panda. It was, after all, a practical car for the city which had no sporty variant. There are some images knocking around the web of Pandas with different bumpers, and an ex-Panda owning forum member had a lovely (tuned) Panda which had a standard bumper with a front spoiler with integrated fog lamps. Looked good if you like that sort of thing.

They do look cool slammed though (MS Paint...)

I have edited a few of my photos to give the appearance the car is lowered. Click my username and look in my gallery. Go to edited pictures for the lowered pics and the other galleries for my other pics. One section is dedicated just to pics of my car, of which there are many.

To get this look you will need lowering springs. They used to be scarce but I have noticed several kits on eBay appearing which will reduce ride height by a significant amount, if not the complete I've-just-driven-off-a-cliff look I've adopted in the photos!

If you have any pics of your car put them up and I'll lower it and you can see what you think.

The alloys on the car were from a Cinq Sporting and have Abarth centre caps. They have since been sold to Graham (username Sprox).

Would you care to give any more info on your plans for the car, and the reasons behind them? I'm quite intrigued. Oh, also check out Sprox's gallery for pics of his red Panda, it is feckin gorgeous.

Edit: OMP lowering springs, 40mm drop.

Most of the kits only come in photoshop, others have made their own but a few very subtle differences such as Sprox has done to his red panda make it look sporty without actually adding any kit and as it's a classic only small subtle changes will make it look good anything else will just look crap.

Oh there maybe german kits available but you would need to search.

Tell you what... because i know this will pass.
give it a week of considered thought and if you still want to chop it down to a mean street machine... go ahead.

it's just not a cool car in that way, it's cool in that it's cheap to own and run and brings a sense freedom uncluttered by facias and power steering. but other than that... it has v.little kudos. even with a 'power make-over'

On the sticky about online sellers one of the sellers on there does sell body kits for the panda but they arn't cheap. IMHO most of them look a bit crap, but some are ok.

If you want some inspiration with regards to making it look better without making it look like a modding disaster dragged from the pits of car hell (essex) then Alan is right Sprox did a great job with his.

Getting a Fiat bonnet scoop (Sisley one is the one to get but their like rocking horse poo though), some cinq alloys, and a mk1 grill (looking for a black one myself if someone has one) and maybe a lowering kit (don't overdo it though, it's a Panda not a dust pan on wheels), is probably a good start and won't make it look like a tarts hand bag. Subtle is good, look around and you'll see what I mean.

Oh and don't underestimate the effect of back to black on the bumpers, I can do some before and after pics of my car (Speedy) if you don't believe me.

Also your Panda is most 100% definately a mk2 (don't get confused into thinking the new panda is the mk2, it's a completely different car with the same name).
