at last !!!! i drive down to plymouth tomorrow for our cruise over to santander. fingers crossed i'm not sea sick posh is ready for action ,the trailer is all packed and i've got the biggest pet carrier that would fit in the car all set up and ready :woot:
the bum side is i dont get to spain till 12.30 on monday and then have to drive all the way down past granada to 'my new life'
havent even looked at the map yet...dont even know where plymouth is LOL !!
cant take photos just not into this computer lark !!
hope to be back on line tues...here goes...
by this time next year i should have the 'panda off road experience 'set up and running lol...see you there !

Best of luck with the trip, it's a pity you have got a stressed out animal onboard needign a safe sanctuary asap... because it's a lovely journey through dusty and mountain regions... you'll get a visit en-masse at some point no doubt.

i´m here ! well i got here ,as in new home tues 9 am ish....
didnt need the sick bags ...the sea crossing was really good , my cat was/is fine- and posh went like a dream , i "nearly" put diesel in the 1st time but a nice spainish boy stopped me ..he..he...
drove though madrid , with the car trailer so i must be 1/2 way to being spainish now !! slept in the car (sressing about the cat and trailer) - on the drivers seat for about 3 hours and then just kept going !! only stopped because rain storms were ssoooooooooooo bad ...
anyway got about 4kl away from ´home´, in storms ,5.30am, dark when i RAN INTO a mud slide !!!-it came OVER the bumper !!!! nearly but didnt .after about 3/$ hour 3 work men found me -cat, car ,trailer ,shorts and MUD and STUCK !!!!! oh yer and ´female ánd íngles´!!! i dont know how but they got me out before the rain swept my life and posh over the ravine !!! i have NEVER been so S··T scared in my life ...but now i´m almost laughing about it .
so yes the adventures are all here for your pandas and yourselves to come over and enjoy !!
posh is great but i do need to make him higher -bigger tyres or something !!

Well done Gina!!you made it!!! i know what you mean by the rainstorms,we have had them here the south of france!!geez never seen so much water falling all at once!!!my little valdisere windscreen wiper just wasnt fast enough for the amount of water falling from the heavens!! anyhow that should be it for this year!!ha ha!!have you got winter tyres on gina?Makes a heck of a difference,on the sloppy stuff?

OLA Gina,I also got some tyres fitted yesterday, i bought some firestone winter tyres, they have tonnes of grip,and look great,i just coudnt get my first choice; pirelli winter snow control down here in southern france,what brand of tyre did you go for Gina?Couldnt believe the attention my little panda got at the tyre centre yesterday ,they were all facinated by my car,and all its little bullbars bonnet catches and side bars!!nice!Are your local fiat dealers friendly Gina?hope you are settling in and enjoying the warm climate.
