General Bad earth

Hey all,

Not enjoying the wiring on these machines! Also some muppets tried to fit a crappy alarm to mine and fooked about with the wiring.

Anyway, weird things are happening which I am suspecting is a bad earth;

Hazards and indicators both only work intermitantly, and the frequency of the flash is really random. They are also adversly affected by having other things on. The temp gauge moves when yopu turn the fans on. Weird stuff. New battery fitted so not that. Charging ok at 14+V so not alternator.

Ive found two 'hedgehogs' of earth connections, one near the passsanger side headlihght and one near the alternatopr on the drivers side. Both of these ive cleaned with ac90 and cleaned reconnected, with no noticable improvement.

Where are the other earth pointys? Are there other earth connections that could be causing weird stuff? Maybe the flash relay causing problems?

I think there is also one on the passenger side wing, near the headlight

The main earth point is at the bottom of the engine (bulkhead side)

I always earth each and every electrical thingy to the bodywork, as well as through the dubious black wires.
