Hallo!

I´m a member of the german Panda-community www.superpanda.de.
I just want to invite you to our great meeting from June, 02,2006 to June, 05,2006.
They are 30 Cars and 60 People registered right now, but course of Paper-Announcements we think, there will be more then 60 cars und many more people!
I know, it´s a short time to plan for you und I´m sorry not to tell you a little bit earlier, but it was plant as a little local meeting, but though we got a very big place for it and many people wanted to come, even from foreign countries, we made it a little bit bigger!
I know, that maybe no one of you is able to come this year, but I want to tell you, that we will make it next year to und maybe then some of you will be able to come!
If you´re interesteted in the meeting, you can visit our sites:

http://www.east-frisia.de.ms
or http://www.pandafreunde-east-frisia.de.ms.
Or you visit our community at http://www.panbella-map.de.ms and show us your location and maybe talk with us at the chat!

Best regards

Tegger (Jan)

P.S:Don´t mind of my bad english, please!

I´m glad too, that I found this Forum!

It´s very interesting for me, to see whats going on in the Pandascene in GB, cause I stayed here (in Scotland exactly) several times and I like your country very much!
So,if I have luck, in some years I will come and live in GB!

Are they any Seat Marbella in country, either?
I wonder if they were sold in GB?

Yours

Jan

Marbellas were sold in UK but like the original panda ceased selling it in the UK in 1994/1995.

Marbellas are even rarer to see than pandas IMO in the UK

In Germany the Fiat Panda was sold 10 times often then the Marbella, but in my county there are many more Marbellas on the street as Pandas!

I like them both, I have a Marbella that looks like an Army-Car (cause of the Colour) and a Panda 750 for my Girlfriend. This Saturday I will get another Marbella buyed at eBay for 1 Euro!

I like the Marbella because it´s very similar like the first Panda, because I really wish i can get an early (1980-1986) Panda, but in Germany they are very rare and whens theres one to buy most times it´s trash!
So, I will look and someday I will get one!

Greetings

Jan

I would have come, but we have just got back from the Czech Republic and Germany so its a bit early for another holiday!!! Where in Germany is the rally? Pandas seem fairly rare in your country, I have been many times as it is a beautiful place, really you dont want to come and live in the UK, its not that good!

Pandas getting rare, thats right! So I am collecting cars and parts as long as the cars are affordable!
The first Panda is really a holy grale and it is hard to find! Most of them were wrecked here because they rusted faster then they ran! ;-):bang:
But thats the point: Almost nobody has one, so it´s a real pleasure to own one!
I even had the Idea to build a "almost"First-Panda from a Seat Marbella Body, because its almost the same. But thats many work and you can do what you want, it never will be a "real" Thing!
But I never will stop trying to get one, that I can afford!

The meeting will be in 26340 Zetel,Germany!
It´s near the North-Sea (almost Wilhelmshaven)and it´s beautiful here,thats right!

But you know, every new thing is interesting and everytime I stay in GB i´m pleased because I like the country and the people there!
You know, I stayed in Scotland several times and it´s wondeful there!

@nuovepanda: Did you registered at our PandaMarbella-Map?

Greetings

Jan

Early Pandas are the Holy Grail, every Panda enthusiast wants one. Most have rusted away sadly.

I think I've just been insulted by an amateur:hm:

There are only two grades of "Panda-Madness": simply no Panda-Madness or the full Madness! :D

One thing I want to say you:It´s a real pleasure to read und write in this forum, cause you all are very friendly und a little bit mad!(y)

I hope to see you sometime, maybe on the East-Frisia 2007, i hope!
It will be a great pleasure for me to meet you!

Greetings

Jan

to my knowledge, which aint much.... there has never been a Panda meet in the UK, which is weird considering their popularity at the moment. No one seems to be able to get the enthusiasm going, Brooklands this year was good, with I think 5 Pandas but they were all parked seperately. In mainland Europe you seem able to get people to actually meet up and chat, here that is hard!
