Whilst driving the little car tonight the radio started to switch off when I was brakeing, then the lights started switching on & off like a mobile disco, the temp guage was leaping from just below 90 to well off the top end of the scale then everything started to fail then all switched back on again instantly I felt like the bloke in Close encounters but without the alien spaceship overhead it was crackers.
Checked the earth leads and the one bolted between the engine and gearbox had became loose the middle of the bolt had stripped, so moved the earth onto another secure bolt and Sorted
the radio is much clearer than it has been for a while so it must have been loose for some time.
Anyway if you start to have similar problems then you know where to look. Just as a side line this didn't affect the running of the engine whatsoever.
I also managed to put the new bumper on, forgetting to change the Numberplate when i went for a spin but the propper one is on now I think it maybe slightly lower on one side which I'll fiddle about with sometime in the future, but it's now solid.
