After seeing Vin's 750 thread, I noticed he talked of a Zender aerial. Is this a superior aftermarket aerial, or an original Panda item? Every Panda I've seen has had an aerial different to mine, so I'm guessing mine's not original. Also, there's a small rusted stump of what seems to be the remains of the old aerial, as should be shown in this picture:

A Zender would tidy up the aerial area considerably, the old stump is pretty ugly. Any info much appreciated (as always).

The roofs are really watertight, even a jet wash won't get past the seals.

The only reason I don't use automatic car washes is that the score the paint after time.

The Zender antenna unscrew at the base when they're new. They rust on solid over time so by the time we're in 2006 they usually can't be un-screwed.

But that's how you'd usually put one thou the wash.

Its more likely that with the antenna being on the kerb side that someone has snapped it off as they walk past....
