Hello guys...:),yetserday I took a look to this belt and I noticed the rubber's a bit cracked, maybe the heat inside the engine bay damaged it;)!Does anyone know which's the faster way to replace it?I think the only way is to unscrew the bolts on the alternator used to tension the belt, am I wrong[^][?]

Slacken, loosen, undo a little bit - just enough, so it will pivot on the bottom bolt.

You're not wrong:)

It may pivot with just the top nut loosened - depends on how tight the bottom one is. If you need to get at the lower one...

You may find access to the lower one easier with the wheel off, looking through from outside [:0] - there should be a plastic cover held on with three small screws hiding it though.

Whether or not you can get at it from the top depends on how thin and nimble your arms are:D

I know the risks of an excessive tension (the altern. bearing has already been replaced 1 time!)...the owner's manual advices to check pushing it with a finger (approx. 10Kg)...it should give way for 1cm;) BTW I bought the belt, 7€ here but now I'm waiting for the will to do the job:D
