Evening all.
I hope you are all still keeping well / keeping solvent in these strange and testing times.
I have attached a cropped and higlighted picture which I have "borrowed" from Chrispandcolour's excellent thread about his Panda Colour build. And a picture of the general area.
My Panda is the same age (but Rosso Red).
I am trying to understand which part of this section needs patching, and which bit is supposed to stay open as a gap up the end of the sill?
Or maybe none of should be open? I can't tell from the other side because that has already been bodged by a previous owner.
Would I be right in thinking whre I have hatched the red lines, that should be a solid piece, and where I have hatched in Green, that should be open?
I need to get the welder out, and probably the fuel tank as well in order to fix this once and for all, so any guidance from somebody who has a less molested Panda I would be grateful!!
Not sure if 4wd Panda's are different in that area or not.

Yes the green bit was originally open from the factory.

I can't remember exactly about the red bit but it looks like it tapers down to the inner sill.

Good luck
Jack
